7.20.12 W20D3 WSBish(alternate workout) Curlbro Day
Took the day off from all things pressing. My shoulders are already thanking me. It felt weird to not do some kind of major lift today. When I first got into lifting, I used to dedicate a day to arms altogether. Now, I’m not really sure why I did. Don’t get me wrong, today was fun to just bro out, but it’s not something I want to do every week.
The one thing I regret from this morning - I didn’t fully embrace the curlbro mentality by doing curls in the squat rack. I actually planned on it. But the quarter-squat twins (I’ve talked about them before) were actually doing curls in the squat rack, followed by quarter squats in the Smith machine, followed by dumbbell stiff-legged deadlifts…I shit you not. They were supersetting all 3. Sad thing was, their DB SLDL were lighter than what I was using for DB curls.
